Sesuai judul, [size=large]saya berniat untuk menyewa motor KAWASAKI NINJA 250 selama saya di Bali (tanggal 6 - 8 Agustus 2010).

Wana terserah dan modifikasi juga tidak ada masalah bagi saya. Bagi yang tertarik akan tawaran ini, harap PM saya bagaimana term2 yang brother mau supaya semua bisa berjalan.

Want to ask about How to use the brake (the right way) while riding the Ninja ? using the front brake/ rear brake ? or combination between them. so just type your suggestions here ... actually i was using the rear brakes for the first and then the front brakes ... is it wrong ?]]>

If there is a dedicated track road for motorbike in Jakarta how would traffic become??

Motorbike relatively faster and more mobile than passenger car and with the public transportation normaly is the slowest. I think it can be a good idea to have special dedicated track for motorcycle isn’t it?

If only we can ride the motorbike on dedicated tract, we must have able to enjoy the riding more and get to our destination quicker. Riding motorbike in bad traffic these days need a lot of effort. Not only we have to struggle under the jacket in hot weather and in pollution but also manuvering between cars. This situation get worsen as public transportation in front of us often suddenly stop picking up/ dropping off passenger.

Indonesia with high population and limited roadway, to use motorbike as mean of transportation can be one of the solution. It is economic and practical. The fuel consumption can be as low as 1 litre for 70 km rides. This absolutely helps in saving energy and reducing pollution. Imagine that if we compare 150 cc motorbike versus 1500 cc car, and if the car is driven only with one person which most of the case what happened here in Indonesia than it means the car burn 10 times more fuel and at the same time produce 10 time more pollution than motorbike.

Beside all the benefit we could get, riding motorbike at the same time can be the most danger means of transportation. Not only riding style, driving attitude, safety gear but road ad traffic condition is the biggest contribution to the safety in my opinion. Mixing cars and motorbike at one track can be not the safest thing to do. Cars maneuvers and behaves differently than motorcycle. They are stiffer but motorcycle is more flexible. Awareness of Car Driver for any incoming Motorcycle is less then awareness of Motorcyclist for any incoming cars. Car acceleration/deceleration characteristic is difference than motorbike acceleration/deceleration. Motorbike is less stable than car does. Not to mention Busses, trucks and public transportation where each of them have different behavior. Especially on public transportation as they tend to stop and go as they like which this behavior is totally against the other road users. All these differences are actually gives more disadvantages to the motorcycle driver than car driver because when accident and collision between car and motorbike happened is absolutely hurt motorbike more than the cars.

Ideally having three tracks, one for public transportation, one for motorbike, and one for cars is the best. A good example is like in Holland where they have dedicated track for bicycle and like in Malaysia where certain highway has dedicated track for motorbike.
We already apply similar concepts like in certain part of Jakarta we have slow track and fast track but I think this still can be improved by separate the slow track in to two sections. One section for angkot and the other section special for motorbike therefore we don’t have to fight with the angkot that slow down the traffic everywhere anytime.

Also having dedicated track for motorbike on Highway will be nice. So I guess it is now the time for us to push goverment to provide a dedicated track for motorbike in Jakarta especially on protocol street and on bussy street.

I have trouble with handling of my Ninja250R especially when it going thru wavy road at high speed for example there are view places between cianjur and puncak. The problem is that the front tire/handle bar is wobbling. Does anyone have ever experience similar problem?
